When we gather for worship things aren’t always what they seem. Heaven is coming to earth. The gifts of Christ are being delivered for life now and life eternal. God’s people are joining their voices with the voices of saints and angels. But our eyes and hearts need to be opened to it all. This workshop will offer examples of 1) how we can teach our members what is happening as we gather around Word and Sacrament; 2) how what we hear, say, pray, and sing in the Divine Service forms the life of the Christian; and, 3) how we can offer explanation and meaning to why we do what we do on Sunday morning.
